In the meantime, we are the fourth, fifth and sixth generation living in Mandel and loving wine. Our goal is to bring the joy we have in working in the vineyard and cellar into the bottle in liquid form. Behind every variation is an idea, a vintage, a soil and the right moment to enjoy a glass or even a whole bottle of it.
Marcus and Carl are responsible for what lies in our cellars, just waiting to be drunk. Birgit and Pauline put it into the right shape and tell the story behind the wines. And then there is nature, which helps decide how each vintage will taste. Luckily we live on the Nahe, because here we and our vines have a lot of sunshine, little but just enough rain and over 280 different types of soil. This is unique and we are always happy that Johann chose Mandel as the place for our family back then. Because the soils around our farm have a big part in the character of our wines.
